Below are several good strategies to try. It is helpful if you enlist your child's teacher's help, but she cannot do it alone. The best progress is made when both school and home work on the same skill together, however, ultimately it is the child that must improve. Teachers, parents, and others can help in the process, but again the child has to work at it. Just like a developing muscle - it has to be used repeatedly to show progress.
